It’s our favourite time of year and now with all our projects complete, it’s the perfect time to reflect on the year that has been.

This year saw the launch of our first Design Series ‘Styling your Home’ we couldn’t have been more thrilled with the hundreds of testimonials that have continued to flood through our emails, the friendships made in the forum group of like-minded woman sharing their homes and love of interiors.

Early next year we plan to launch a collection of Mini Series, an extensive e-workbook packed full of beautiful illustrations, images and information.

Launching early next year is the first of our mini-series, ‘Styling your Table,’ an extensive e-workbook packed full of beautiful illustrations, images and information, showing you effortless ways of styling your table for different occasions, keeping the looks simple to achieve, stylish and inspiring but always beautiful.

We thought what better way to give a sneak peak into the course than by showing you our own Christmas table setting in our favourite colour way blue and white. Our table was set on the verandah, enjoying our beautiful summer weather with a lush backdrop of greenery.

It’s Christmas after all, so out came the crystal glasses and silver to give the table a touch of glamour. My beautiful Christolfe silver was a recent find, my mother-in-law who knows how much I love silver, knew a friend who was selling off her treasures, I couldn’t believe my luck that this beautiful French sterling cutlery was now mine and that one day I could pass it down to my daughter, I love that kind of tradition. The rest of the table was kept simple but beautiful and everyone was gifted the boxwood wreaths as a gift from the day. Creating lifetime memories with good food, wine and family, does it get better than that! Our Styling your Table Mini Series launches early next year, if you haven’t already subscribed to our mailing list please do and we will let you know our early bird special before the launch.

As for our clients, I can honestly say, we have the best clients ever and we are so grateful we attract those that trust our vision and allows us to transform their homes. We worked on some exciting new build projects and we have lots more in the New Year, new interior opportunities interstate, collaborations with products and launching new exciting products all happening throughout 2018.

Next year will see our offices expanding to the Gold Coast but of course Brisbane will always be our main base.

Overall it’s been a great year and we have so much to be grateful for, we are both looking forward to a relaxing holiday and spending time with our families over Christmas. We can’t wait to share with you all our plans for 2018 in the coming months.

Nature Artwork Collection Launch

We're excited to finally share with you, our bespoke collection of botanical and bird illustrations we created in collaboration with the talented artist, Bethany Linz

We wanted to create a collection of individual, fine art bird and botanicals that reflected our love of nature and classic design. Each collection is designed to work as wall art together, or can be hung on their own, beauty in it's simplest form.

We've selected a variety of faux bamboo framing finishes and sizes to suit your home interiors, alternatively you can buy the fine art prints and frame them yourself.

We are installing the bird and botanical collections in a client's home in a few weeks time which we will share with you soon, they are simply divine in person.

We hope you love them as much as we do!

A Chic Country Home

If you have been following us on Instagram then you would have witnessed the progress of this beautiful renovation project in Bridgeman Downs, Brisbane where we have recently completed Stage 2.  We started with the exterior of the home by providing our clients with vision and inspiration and then we went to work on designing and specifying all the intricate details of the home.  A year later with the home exterior fully renovated, we then started on the downstairs interior.  We had a blank canvas of bare walls and timber floors, the kitchen was due to be replaced and the staircase balustrade needed restoring.  Apart from that, the home had great bones and after 20 years was well overdue for a revamp.  We began by adding millwork panelling to the walls and fireplace.  We worked with our cabinet maker to design and create bespoke pieces of cabinetry that appeared to be more like furniture pieces rather than built-in cabinetry.  We custom made all the sofas, armchairs and furnishings and tailored made them to suit the space perfectly.  The other furniture items were hand picked for their unique craftsmanship and beauty.  We have still a few more rooms downstairs to complete before heading to the bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs.

Australia Day

Australia Day

Happy Australia Day! Today we get to celebrate how lucky we are to live in such a beautiful country. We thought what better way to celebrate the colours of our flag than with an inspiration board we've created for you in blue, red & white! This is a colour scheme we will be channeling a lot more in 2017.

Potted Boxwoods

Boxwood in pots are like living sculptures, these ornamental evergreen shrubs with their rich green foliage, rounded formal shape make the perfect potted statement.

Planted in rows, grouped together in varying heights, placed in your garden, by the pool or at your entry, these hardy classic plants are on our radar for 2017!
