One Room Challenge Reveal

With so much anticipation leading up to today...its the One Room Challenge reveal day! We are so excited to share with you, after 6 weeks of progress shots, our final room complete!

There have been moments we've been tried and tested, like the time when the back wall was being painted black that we thought - what have we done!! Thankfully it all turned out as we had first envisioned, its been an amazing journey, if you are new to the ORC, click here to start from the beginning at Week 1. As we mentioned in our first week, this area in our showroom was once a dead, empty space with a sloped ceiling that we didn't know what to do with (Click here, to see the before shots). When Linda from Calling it Home invited us into this challenge we decided this was the perfect space to test our creative abilities and conquer this room once and for all!

We were restricted with what we could do to this room as once our lease is up, we have to put everything back to what it was when we first moved in so we couldn't make any structural changes and had to work with the bones that were there. Although we are lovers of neutral & classic tones; black and white as a room scheme combination can sometimes be the most difficult, we had to ensure the white frieze, panelling, wallpaper and fabrics all worked together even though we used different tones of white throughout. It was important to create the perfect balance of black and white with a combination of greenery, foliage, silver and decor pieces.

We went antique shopping last week to pick up those last few bits and pieces, we found this amazing marble bust that was the perfect addition to our sideboard, she added that touch of mystery and elegance to our styling.

As we mentioned last week, the day after the photoshoot we invited some of our clients to a morning tea to celebrate the launch of this area (as well as other areas we completed in the showroom), it was such an amazing way to finish the challenge with lots of bubbly and cupcakes! We will be sharing photos of our fab event on Facebook, click here to see the page.

Big thank you to Linda and the other bloggers in the ORC Challenge, it has been a pleasure following your progress and receiving all your lovely comments. Most of all thank you to our followers for your support! We have loved reading your comments and sharing our journey with you. If you have any questions about our room reveal, please email
